What's in your lunch box?

I've been doing my Weight Watchers plan for about 5 months now and am down a total of 40 pounds!  Yay me!

I have been taking my breakfast and lunch to work, for the most part, and am starting to get a little tired of my regular food.  I bring: (individually wrapped/packaged):

  • Carrots and hummus for breakfast

For lunch I have a selection of the following:

  • lean meat on a sandwich thin
  • fruit
  • cottage cheese
  • sugar free pudding
  • sun chips
  • an occasional chocolate

Once in a while I will go out to Panera *YUM* or get a lunch out of the cafeteria.

I stock our fridge with the above stapels for me and Mr. Beachy to be able to grab and throw in our lunch boxes on the way out the door.

What are your staples?  Do you have any fun ideas for me?

Wow, congratulations on your weight loss, that is wonderful! I really should join WW again, I did many years ago after my daughter was born and it's such a great program! I don't eat any transfats, only organic fruits and veggies, and grass-fed or pasture raised only meats.

Keep up the good work, and thank you for your lovely comment on my blog!

WW has such a good program and everyone of my friends who has tried it has lost weight and kept the pounds off. I like to bring a thermos of homemade soup to work. I can control the fat, sodium, etc. that way. One of my favorites is Roasted Red Pepper Soup. I can low sodium chicken broth, i can diced tomatoes, 1/2 chopped sauteed onion and 1 garlic clove, I chopped roasted red pepper (can use those in jars too). Simmer all for 30 min. Blend until smooth. Easy peasy! I am your newest follower. Came over from Low Tide High Style.

Love,
