Emerald Water, Sugar Sands

I post a lot about the beaches closest to me. Here in Venice, Florida we are a short 5 minute drive to our closest beach and within 30 minutes of so many more. Today I wanted to feature one of my favorite beach "areas" not close to me.

The beaches along Florida's Panhandle are stunning. The water is take your breath away, emerald green and the sands are like sugar; soft, cool and white. Make yourself a Rum Runner and take a look at the Emerald Coast.

Welcome to the Reneck Riviera!

Love St.George Island!Great place to just kick it back and do absolutely nothing. 'Cause there's nothing to do there!

I didn't realize you were from Venice....I live just down the road in North Port! We are so lucky to live near so many great beaches....
