What's in your beach bag?

Beach or pool, Mr. Beachy and I take a ton of stuff when we are heading for the water. Here's our list:

2 Beach towels
Beach blanket
Ziploc to hold: Keys, phones, pen (for Mr. Beachy’s crossword), money (for parking)
Large Ziploc for collecting shells
Shelling stick (for finding small shells and shark’s teeth – Venice is the Shark's Tooth Capital of the World!
Snorkel mask (to look at life beneath the surface and search for sand dollars)
2 Boogie Boards
Inflatable turtle – You should see the looks we get… it’s huge! We strap the cooler on it’s back and float around with our own little wet bar!

Of course we can’t always take all of this stuff every time we go. It’s too much. It all depends on the weather and the seas. If we’ve got some surf we do boogie boards. If it’s pretty calm we can take the turtle out.

Are you going to the beach this 4th of July Weekend? What's in your beach bag?

Hi! Just found your beachy blog and it left me wishing I was at the beach instead of in Indiana. I love vacationing along the Gulf Coast of Florida! I also have a big jar of shark's teeth found on the Venice (and Englewood) beaches! It was fun to read your list of beach bag "must haves".
