Questions for you!

Last week I answered your questions and this week I have a couple of my own for you:

What is your favorite "diet" meal or snack?

What is your favorite Super Bowl recipe? I am especially interested in wing recipes, but would love other ideas from y'all.

Thanks!

I don't have a superbowl recipe, but I will say that trader joes (if you have one there) has this really amazing artichoke dip. I love it! So great with crackers.

As far as a diet snack. I try to always eat healthy snacks. TJs also has some great snacks, and I usually go for some whole grain toast, veggies, fruit, or popcorn.

Favorite wing recipe:
Sesame Chicken Wings
2 1/2 lbs. wings
1/2 c soy sauce
1/3 c water
1/4 c sugar
2 T olive oil
4 green onions with tops, sliced
1/2 med onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 - 2 T sesame seeds
black pepper to taste
Combine all to make marinade, add wings. Coat well, cover and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
Remove wings, discard marinade, place in baking pan and bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes. Turn and bake for 20 minutes longer or until tender.

My favorite diet snack is the mini popcorn bags of kettle corn because it gives you the salty and sweet!

I love making 7 layer dip for superbowl and last year I made brie topped with brown suger pecans wrapped in puff pastry, not exactly superbowl food but it was seriously yummy!!!

My favorite diet snack is a circle of Babybel cheese and a Golden Delicious apple. Babybel is soooo good - you feel like you're cheating!

We don't "celebrate" the Super Bowl here! UFC fights yes, Super Bowl - nope.

I've replaced all my soda and sugary drinks with seltzer water with a splash of fruit juice for flavor. They also sell flavored seltzer water, but I think this tastes better. My big secret is, if you don't buy it then you don't eat it. So sadly I pass up the ice cream and cookie isle at the grocery store.
