Christmas Gift Ideas...

I need them! We are tightening our belts this year and I am trying to come up with some fun, low cost presents for my family. Can you help a girl out? For my sister's birthday I made a photo frame out of seashells with a rich-looking ivory satin hanging ribbon. I also gave her a key lime cake and an orchid (on sale from Publix for $6.50 thank you very much). For Christmas I need to have gifts for my mom, dad, sister, her husband and Mr. Beachy. Thoughts anyone? Thanks girlies!

Well, in our family we don't do the gift giving anymore..., just cards..., I think candles are always a great gift and gift certificates from great online stores too.

You can always find great deals for DVDs and books online. Check out amazon.com and look around. And if you spend $25, you get free shipping.

I always check Williams Sonoma for great sales. I got a TON of cookbooks that were originally $20+ marked down to just $6!

They also have some yummy mixes for pancakes, and bread for around $10 which makes a cute gift.

My friend Jill just posted these really cute Christmas cottages at peeptoepumpsandpearls.blogspot.com

Would be an adorable gift to make and give. The woman that first posted about them that Jill mentions in the post actually made one for me last year and I LOVE it.

Hope I helped a bit!

Hi there missy! Welll this is kind of dorky but I am getting together some photos I have taken of the fam over the last year or so and printing them in black and white. Then I am getting some big black frames and making a collage of sort with all the pics. In the center of the frame I am getting little wooden letters (from the craft store, painting them black) and gluing on our family motto "where one goes, we all go" its corny but its us :) My siblings are getting older and moving into dorm room and apartments so it will be a nice keepsake for them. So you may be able to do something like that, hope this helps :)

Hello! I agree that there are some great deals on books, dvds, and cds right now. Sign up for Borders online and they send amazing coupons all the time!

Also, a nice framed photo of the family or photo book is always great!

Have a great day and good luck!

you can't beat kithen towels from williams sonoma and they are affordable for a gift but not something you want to buy yourself... and you can personalize them with a quick monogram
