BF and I went to the Ormond Plantation Farmer's Market in Destrehan, LA this Saturday (before the skies opened up and poured for the remainder of the day). There were several tents with fresh produce (we bought tomatoes and yellow squash) and there was also fresh bread and other baked goods, handmade soaps, wine, candles, plants, meat, kettle corn, jambalaya and more. I loved it and will be headed back next Saturday. When we got home we made BLT's with our tomatoes for brunch and proceeded to lay around watching movies the rest of the day. For those in the area, the farmer's market is open every Sat. from 8-noon.
