Happy "Little Friday"

I looooove mojitos. I had my first one on a trip to Key West in Mallory Square watching the sunset. If you haven't tried this perfect summer drink yet, let me share my recipe.

Handful of fresh mint leaves, washed and dried
1/2 a lime
1 1/2 T. sugar
1 shot light rum
3 shots soda water
Put mint leaves in the bottom of a highball glass. Add the sugar. Squeeze the half-lime into the glass, then slice the lime into smaller pieces and drop them in on top of the mixture. Using a pestle, muddle together. Add ice. Fill the glass up a quarter of the way with the rum. Top off with soda water and stir. Garnish with lime & mint.

I enjoyed mine here:

Wow, would I love to be there right now...or anywhere else that is tropical. I need a vacation. Thanks for the "picture vacation."

I stop by your blog a good bit -- it is really cute!
